Community Sign Posting Requests

The Anderson Mill M.U.D. has a community sign at the corner of Schoolhouse Lane and Lake Creek Parkway near the Anderson Mill Pool. For many years, the district has accepted requests to post personal messages and announcements on the sign as a public service. It has become a favorite tradition with many of our residents. In addition to personal messages the sign is frequently used to inform the residents of meetings and other events.

The order of priority is first to any M.U.D. meeting or events, then neighborhood events, school events, non-profit organization events, and then personal messages. Commercial or business announcements are not accepted for posting. The posting of messages is worked into the schedules of the M.U.D. Parks employees and is NOT given the highest priority, so there are no promises of the exact date or time of the posting. The messages are limited to 4 lines with APPROXIMATELY 22 letters AND spaces. The District reserves the right to edit the message in any way necessary to fit in the available space.

Messages can be submitted below in the Online Message Request Form, or if internet access is not available, the messages can be called in to the Parks Dept. voice mail system at 512-331-1981 extension 2. or by faxing the message at 512-331-8892. Please include your name and a call back number in case there are any questions.
